My life story in a few
short paragraphs...

From as early as I can remember, I've had an
interest in engineering. I learned
to solder at the age of 10, tried to fix my first radio
at the age of 11, managed to fix my first piece of audio
gear at 13. The rest is history as they say.
I grew up in a family where I was influenced
by a wide range of music, my first memory of music was
hearing the likes of jazz greats such as Nina Simone and
Ella Fitzgerald, mixed with classical and a lot of material
on the folk/rock side. I probably
picked up the folk and jazz influence a lot stronger than I
did the classical, but I still like most kinds of music.
I'm heavily into photography and design, all
the graphics on this website are my own work. I also have a
thing for vintage cars - I currently own a couple of modern
Jaguars - a mid 90's XJ Sport 4.0 and a last generation XKR coupe - and
also have a vintage Ford Capri which I'm gradually
restoring to factory condition. I've also owned a couple of MGs,
Alfas, a Lotus, various
other vintage Jags, the list goes on. My dream car would be
something rare and vintage, maybe a 30's Bugatti with a
straight 8 engine or an early lightweight bodied Jaguar
coupe, E-Type or something earlier from the LeMans era;
something from the days when cars still had a coach-built feel and
weren't made entirely from plastic. I can dream I guess.
My industry qualifications include a Distinction HNC
and City & Guilds, both in Electronic Engineering. I'm
currently studying Electronic Engineering at the
University of Essex
