Cassette decks

Popular in the 1970's, struggled against and were finally won over by CD in the 1980's. But they still have some charm and a well set up cassette deck can still sound good, the gentle compression given to recorded sound by magnetic tape gives it a completely different sound to digital formats like CD or traditional vinyl.
